Vantage is an iPhone app for tracking the sneakers, apparel and collectibles you own and what they're worth. It's built so we know as little about you as possible. This page explains what that means in practice.

The short version

What's on your iPhone and in iCloud

Everything you enter: items, sizes, costs, stores, order numbers, sales, fees, expenses, the products you watch and your price alerts. It's stored with Apple's SwiftData and synced through CloudKit to your private iCloud database, which only your Apple ID can access. Delete All Data in More → Account removes it from your devices and iCloud.

What our server sees

To show market prices, the app talks to our server at api.vantageinventory.app, which looks prices up from marketplace data. To do that it receives:

Our server runs on Cloudflare, which processes requests (including IP addresses) to deliver and protect the service, under its own privacy policy. We don't keep IP addresses in our database.

Notifications and reminders

Price alerts and release reminders are scheduled and checked on your iPhone. Nothing about them is sent to us.

Camera

The camera is only used, with your permission, to scan a box label when you add an item. Images are read on your iPhone and never uploaded.

Children

Vantage isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
